The Gold Coast offers a wide range of events and things to do throughout the year. Below are some of the main events coming up in 2010 and 2011.

14 to 22 August - Seniors Week

19 to 22 August - Broadbeach Jazz and Food Festival
A combination of world class jazz and award winning food from celebrity chefs is a great reason to spend a weekend on the Gold Coast. The festival will take place in Broadbeach, just a 5 minute drive or 10 minute bus from Anacapri Apartments.

21 to 27 August - Australian Children's Book Weel

26 August to 5 September - Tastes of Gold Coast Festival.

4 to 5 September - Gold Coast Pet and Animal Expo

10 to 19 September - Swell Sculpture Festival

3 October - Gold Coast Half Ironman Triathlon

9 October  - Griffith University Paradise Regatta
Asia-Pacific's premier televised annual rowing and dragon boat event will be held at the Circle and Evendale Park.

10 October - Wilson HTM Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle Challenge

18 October - NIB Coolangatta Gold

22 to 26 October - Gold Coast 600 V8 Racing carnival
What once was Indy has now become a three day motoring and live music feast, with V8 Supercars and concerts each night with the likes of The Beach Boys, P!nk, Richard Clapton, Noiseworks, Empire of the Sun and more.

6 to 14 November - Pan Pacific Masters
An anticipated 10,000 participants from all over the world will compete in the multi-sport event which is helf at the beginning of November every two years. The Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre, just 5 minutes drive from Anacapri Apartments will be the official Games Village with live nightly entertainment, a sports expo, fully catered hospitality and a venue for the Games sportspeople to socialise.

7 November - Coolangatta Gold
The NIB Coolangatta Gold is the toughest Ironman and Ironwoman race on the surf sports calendar and is held on the world famous Gold Coast beaches. Competitors ski, board paddle, swim and run individually and in teams.
