The Beach Boys have been confirmed as the headlining act for the Gold Coast 600 V8 Supercars Series this October. The three day "600 Sounds" music festival that will accompay the v8 car races.
The bands playing during the festival, that has replaced the Indy as the Surfers Paradise car racing sensation, is a first time addition to the popular October weekend. Entry is included in the cost of the race tickets and the events will take place just 600 meters from the race track. Other acts that will play include Baby Animals, Noiseworks, The Angels, Mondo Rock, James Reyne and Richard Clapton as well as The Potbelleez, Empire of the Sun, Sneaky Sound System and The Funkoars.
